Sam Ryan founded Keybridge as a boutique ghostwriting shop in 2003. He has since grown the company into a full-service public relations firm with nearly 100 active clients across the world. As president and CEO, Sam continues to oversee business and editorial operations.
Prior to Keybridge, Sam was a member of the editorial staff of the Wall Street Journal, where he was based in Brussels.
He has been published in leading newspapers across the country – including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and Los Angeles Times. Sam has also appeared on numerous national radio and television shows – from NPR to Fox News.
Sam is a member of the DC Chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization. He holds a degree in English Literature from Columbia University, where he rowed on the varsity lightweight crew. He is an avid guitar player and has two red-headed daughters, Molly and Catherine.

As COO, David supervises the day-to-day operations. He was the first employee at the company, played a critical role building it to its current size, and is now part-owner.
Before joining Keybridge, David was assistant editor of The American Enterprise, a national magazine published by the American Enterprise Institute. Earlier, he served in the George W. Bush administration, where he worked as the chief speechwriter at the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
His own articles have appeared in dozens of top newspapers, including the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and Washington Post. He has appeared on both radio and television on numerous occasions. In addition to his work at Keybridge, David is the founder and editor of Terroirist.com, a critically acclaimed wine blog. He also serves on the board of America’s Future Foundation, a nonprofit that works to identify and develop young professional leaders for liberty across the country.
David is a graduate of Yale University, where he rowed on the varsity crew team and co-edited The Politic, Yale’s nonpartisan political magazine.

As Vice President, Robby oversees writing, media outreach, and media placement. Robby has been with Keybridge since 2006, helping to build the company from its start-up days. Robby has extensive experience overseeing large PR campaigns. He currently oversees approximately $1 million in accounts, including those for several Fortune 500 companies and trade groups.
Before joining Keybridge, Robby worked at the Winston Group, a Washington-based polling and political consulting firm, where he wrote focus-group scripts, national surveys, and research analyses. He has also served on the staff of Indiana Congressman Steve Buyer.
Robby’s own writings have appeared in USA Today, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Orange County Register, the Orlando Sentinel, the Buffalo News, the Louisville Courier-Journal, and many other publications across the country. He has also been a featured guest on National Public Radio’s “Justice Talking” with Margot Adler and “The Thom Hartmann Show.” Outside the workplace, Robby has served on the Executive Committee of the Vestry and volunteers in numerous other capacities at Grace Episcopal Church in Alexandria, Virginia.
He graduated with distinction in the Classics from Yale University, where he sang with the Baker’s Dozen and the Whiffenpoofs. He was also a contestant on the college edition of “Jeopardy!”

Laura runs business development at Keybridge Communications. Before moving into her current role, she worked as a senior account executive for the company.
She joined Keybridge from Regnery Publishing, where she was the sole publicist on two New York Times bestselling books. Prior to Regnery, Laura worked at Clear Channel Communications and she continues to maintain extensive contacts with radio and television producers.
A graduate of Miami University, Laura earned a BA in Mass Communications and received the Michael Kelly scholarship for outstanding achievement in journalism.

Alyssa runs the design division of Keybridge Communications. Prior to joining the company, she founded Verveffect, a graphic design and web development firm that she ran in the Southeast for five years. She has extensive experience in virtually all areas of branding and design, utilizing both print and web. Alyssa graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art and Design.

Rob is responsible for drafting and editing Keybridge writing projects. Previously, he worked as a research analyst at the communications firm Berman and Company. His work has been published in many top newspapers, including The New York Times and Wall Street Journal. Rob is a magna cum laude graduate of Brown University, where he majored in philosophy with honors.

As director, Kaitlyn is a primary point of contact for large clients. She manages accounts, develops strategy, oversees project-flows, and ensures that client goals are met.
Before joining Keybridge, she was communications director of the American Legislative Exchange Council, where she appeared in numerous television, radio, and newspaper interviews, including Fox News, NPR, CNN, and the New York Times. Her own opinion columns have also been widely published.
Prior to ALEC, she served as Interactive Media Coordinator at FreedomWorks and Managing Editor for Philanthropy magazine at The Philanthropy Roundtable. Kaitlyn received a B.A. in Political Science and Music from Hillsdale College, and is a graduate of the Herbert H. Dow II Journalism Program.

As director, Rebecca oversees large accounts, manages project flows, and interfaces directly with clients. Prior to her current position, she worked for Keybridge as an account executive, and later a staff writer. Rebecca is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Georgetown University, where she earned a BA in English and Psychology. While at Georgetown, Rebecca was a top performing female member of the triathlon team.

As IT Director, Mike oversees web development, coding, and back-end systems. He specializes in creating sophisticated tech solutions for clients.
Before joining Keybridge, Mike was the business software manager for Isis, a technology consulting firm. He managed large-scale implementations of enterprise-level accounting networks and e-commerce platforms. He has extensive experience with SQL, Visual Basic, MS Access, WordPress, and numerous database systems.
Mike graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia with a major in Management Information Systems. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Microsoft Dynamics Certified Professional.
Outside of work, Mike is an accomplished bass player and has studied under Victor Wooten. He enjoys making music and spending time with his wife and daughter.

As an account executive, Chris manages Keybridge’s media monitoring and also works on media placement, writing, and radio operations. Prior to joining the company, Chris lent his skills to Education Week, The Prince George’s Sentinel and Inside Lacrosse. Chris is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, where he earned a BA with a double major in News/Editorial Journalism and Psychology.

As an account executive, Kristen works on media placement, media relations, conventional public affairs, and writing. Before joining the company, Kristen served on the staff of Senator John D. Rockefeller, IV. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Virginia University, where she also was elected to the Student Government Association’s Board of Governors for two terms.
As operations manager, Nina runs the company’s day-to-day financial and human resources activities. Prior to joining Keybridge, she worked in the investment industry for AllianceBernstein, a wealth management firm. Nina earned a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park and is currently an MBA candidate at the Robert H. Smith School of Business.
